I truly love those quiet winter moments when everything sparkles and the world seems to slow down for just a little while. That is exactly the feeling I wanted to capture with this pop-up snowman card.
While creating it, I completely fell in love with the shimmering embossing paste. The background sparkles both on the outside and the inside, with tiny snowflakes catching the light—almost like freshly fallen snow. And when the card is opened, the snowman pops up, holding a small banner in his hands and softly whispering:
“Wishing you a beautiful winter filled with sparkling moments.”
Herzlich Willkommen zum monatlichen Blog Hop des internationalen "Totally Techniques" - Designteam. Ich liebe diese stillen Wintermomente, wenn alles glitzert und die Welt für einen Augenblick ganz ruhig wird. Genau dieses Gefühl wollte ich in dieser Pop-up-Karte mit Schneemann festhalten.
Schon beim Gestalten hat mich die glitzernde Embossing Paste verzaubert. Außen wie innen funkelt der Hintergrund, kleine Schneeflocken schimmern im Licht – fast wie frisch gefallener Schnee. Und wenn sich die Karte öffnet, richtet sich der Schneemann auf, hält sein kleines Banner in den Händen und flüstert:
„Ich wünsche dir einen wunderschönen Winter mit glitzerschönen Stunden.“
For me, cards like these are more than just paper and stamps. They are time, emotion, and a little piece of my heart. The embossing paste adds beautiful depth to the design and makes winter not only visible, but truly tangible. All materials are from Stampin’ Up! and help me capture these special moments.✨ If you want to give joy that lasts, take your time, get creative, and let it sparkle. Sometimes a handmade card is exactly what someone needs.
Für mich sind solche Karten mehr als Papier und Stempel. Sie sind Zeit, Gefühl und ein Stück Herz. Die Embossing Paste schenkt dem Design Tiefe und macht den Winter nicht nur sichtbar, sondern spürbar. Alle Materialien stammen von Stampin’ Up! und begleiten mich dabei, genau diese besonderen Momente festzuhalten.✨ Wenn du Freude verschenken möchtest die bleibt, dann nimm dir Zeit, werde kreativ und lass es glitzern. Manchmal ist eine handgemachte Karte genau das, was jemand gerade braucht.
Step by Step instructions:
You need embossing paste, a card base wich color you want and a mask. Du benötigst dafür die Seidenglanz Struktur Paste von Stampin' Up! einen Kartenrohling passend zum Farbkonzept und eine Maske.
Take the texture paste out of the container using a spatula and spread it over the stencil. Make sure all recessed areas are completely filled with the paste. Once you are happy with the result, gently scrape off the excess paste and carefully remove the stencil.
Tips:
- Keep a container of warm water nearby so you can clean the spatula and the stencil immediately after use.
- Close the texture paste container tightly and, for longer shelf life, store it airtight in an additional plastic container or a zip-top bag.
